Icon Sets
An icon set is a collection of icons with similar visual consistency or purpose. In Iconomizer there are 3 ways you can create an icon set:
Use an Built In Icon Library
Iconomizer includes 13 open source icon libraries. To use, install them by clicking the Add (+) button on the Icon Set List, and select Install Icon Library.

The included icon libraries all have a free license. You can use the icons in your own project freely.
Drag In a Folder Of SVG Icons
If you have a folder of SVG icons that you would like to use to create an icon set, select All Icons in the Icon Set List and then drag and drop the folder into the Icons View. This will create an icon set with the name of the dragged and dropped folder.
Alternatively, you can click the Add (+) button and select Import Icon Set and choose the icons with the file chooser.
Create a New Icon Set
You can create an empty icon set by clicking the Add (+) button and selecting New Icon Set.
![]()
Give the new icon set a name and add SVG icons by either dragging and dropping icons into the Icons View, or opening a file chooser.
![]()
Open the file chooser by right clicking the icon set in the Icon Set List and selected Add Icons...

Deleting Icon Sets
To delete an icon set, select the icon set in the Icon Set List and press the Delete key. Alternatively, right click and select Delete. You can undo this action by pressing Command-Z or selected Undo from the edit menu. Once Iconomizer is closed, the icon set and all the icons it contains are permanently deleted.
