Tagging Icons

Icons can be tag with meaningful words to help with icon search and to facilitate creating sub groups/categories withing an icon set. Icons can have more than one tag.

There are 3 ways to tag an icon.

• Select edit mode and click on the icon. In the editor panel add tags in the tags field.
• Select the icons to be tagged and right click on the Icons View. In the menu that appears, select Tag Selected

• Select the icons to be tagged and then choose Selected Icons in the Icon Sets List. Click on the Tag action button at the bottom onf the Icons View.

Creating Icon Set Categories With Tags

After tagging icons, you can find them via using the search field in the Toolbar.

You can also create categories withing an icon set. Categories are groups of icons of a similar kind, purpose or theme. For example, within the Font Awesome icon you could tag all the icons that are the logo of a company with the tag "logo". Then right click Font Awesome in the Icon Set List and select Add Tag Category

Selecting the tag category will display only the icons with that tag.
